Visual Spectrum


   Weather TermDescription / Definition
   Visual Spectrum The portion of the electromagnetic spectrum to which the eye is sensitive, i.e., light with wavelengths between 0.4 and 0.7 micrometers. Compare shortwave radiation and longwave radiation.
